Our family is flying to a new nest

We were approved for the house we applied for last Friday!!! They are negotiable on move in date so we are still working on that … sometime in June. YEAH! Some of my favorite things about our new pad …

  • Newer home with lots of energy efficient features
  • 3 big, georgeous bedrooms (master has vaulted ceilings and walk-in closet)
  • Jetted bathtub in the master (my heaven)
  • Built-in bookshelves and a gas fireplace in the living room
  • Slide out shelves in the pantry for ultimate organization
  • Stainless steel appliances
  • Great location (close to the mall, parks, and freeway)
  • The owner is leaving her front loading washer/dryer

Only bummers are no backyard (Dom has assured me we won’t really need one until the little one is ready to go outside on their own … until then we will just venture to the park; there is a cement pad for the BBQ so we’re good to go) and only a 1 car garage (nothing like a little motivation to get rid of “stuff”).

I am most exited about the bathhtub … can you say relaxation!?!?!?

sounds awesome! One good extra bouns about the jetted bath tub….my nephew calls ours the "bubble maker". Out in some bubble bath and then turn on the jets and it makes a ton of bubbles…and they are so soft! it takes the work out of making a bubble bath :)

Congratulations, your new house sounds just perfect!!!And I totally agree with your hubby: you don't NEED a backyard ever but especially not until they are much older! Emily is almost 4 years old and won't play outside alone, EVER! She's much happier with other kids at our local parks. :)

Congratulations! I love my front loaders…I actually enjoy doing laundry now. My girls like to play in the driveway more than on the lawn. I am tagging you today. Come see :)

God just knows the perfect thing to make a new mama happy….a jetted tub! Just don't be surprised if baby loves it too:) Just remember the book "Five Minutes Peace"? You gave it to me on my 1st Mother's Day:)
